Northside Brass Quintet presents ‘Brass Brilliance’ in historic St. Charles church

Enjoy an afternoon of live music as the Northside Brass Quintet presents its inaugural chamber concert in the historic Baker Memorial United Methodist Church in downtown St. Charles.

“Brass Brilliance” will be performed from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at the church, 307 Cedar Ave. The church is known for its breathtaking acoustics and architectural beauty. Tickets are $35. Livestream is also available.

The program will feature works by Dukas, Bach, Ewald, and more — a dynamic mix of repertoire that highlights the versatility and power of brass.

The Northside Brass Quintet is one of the premier brass ensembles in the Chicago and Fox Valley region. In the spring, the quintet returns to the church for “Spring Awakenings” on April 19.
