Bartlett Oktoberfest returns with food, drinks, live music

Get ready for two full days of music, food, and fun with a festive flair. The Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce, Bartlett Rotary Club, and Bartlett Lions Club will bring the fourth annual Oktoberfest to Leiseberg Park, 325 E. Devon Ave., Bartlett, Friday, Sept. 26, and Saturday, Sept. 27.

Admission is free. Food and beverage tickets will be available for purchase on-site. Visit BartlettOktoberfest.com for the full schedule and updates.

This family-friendly celebration features:

• American and German cuisine: Kori’s Koop Food Truck will serve pork schnitzel and mashed potatoes from 4-8 p.m. Friday and 3-8 p.m. Saturday; brats, burgers, hot dogs and pretzels will be served all weekend.

• Live music and dancing; beer and wine; and local exhibitor booths.

• Kids’ activities from 1-5 p.m. Saturday with entertainment all weekend long

Friday, Sept. 26

4 p.m. Oktoberfest opens; exhibitor booths open

4:30 p.m. Tapping of the Golden Keg with festival sponsor MORE Brewing Co. and village officials

5-6:30 p.m. Austin Hopkins (country rock and originals)

7-9 p.m. The Mindees (’70s, ’80s, ’90s party music)

9-10:30 p.m. DJ Jason spinning tunes

Saturday, Sept. 27

1 p.m. Oktoberfest opens

1-4 p.m. Giant Chess interactive demo

1-5 p.m. “Kinderplatz” Kids Place activities, including bounce house, face painting/tattoos, games, challenges, prizes and more

1-10 p.m. Yard games; selfie stations and photo ops

2-4 p.m. Prost Oktoberfest Band (German)

4:30-6:30 p.m. Flying Nowakowski Brothers (’80s rock)

7-9 p.m. Rockin’ Moxie (blues, soul, rock ’n’ roll)

9-10:30 p.m. DJ Jason spinning tunes

Parking

There is no parking at Leiseberg Park. There is free downtown Bartlett parking; free parking is also available in the Metra lots, and Senior Flexonics East Lot (across from the park; available lot will be clearly marked).
