Fermi warns of traffic disruption on Butterfield

Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia has announced temporary road modifications at Butterfield and Kautz roads as it modifies the right of way on Butterfield.

It is using Kautz for large truck traffic from several construction sites at the lab. There will be traffic-control devices, including drums and signage. Flaggers will sometimes direct traffic to allow trucks to enter and leave.

The lab said it expects the disruption to last until November.
