Who is a Fascist?
First, fascism, as a political movement, can be solely attributed to Benito Mussolini, who popularized the term Fascist in 1919 through his newspaper The People of Italy. Name-calling in politics is more of a tradition than an irregularity, but after the past election it’s become a normalcy in politics.
Even on college campuses the word “fascist” echoed and some called Charlie Kirk a “fascist” without knowing the true meaning. Because Charlie Kirk openly preached free speech and engaged these young people in open questions he represented fascism?
Often you’ll hear the Left in the Democrat Party call the current government a “threat to Democracy” and that Republicans are “fascist people.” Is this just rhetoric or true belief in saying that fascism is bringing down our Republic form of government.
When younger I remember the phrase “sticks and stones may break my bones” as a children's rhyme and used as a retaliatory way to verbal insults or name-calling, suggesting that physical harm from sticks and stones might injure one, but words will not cause any physical harm.
Well, can we be a child again in using that phase or is the assignation of Charlie Kirk a real threat to our Republic. Now is the time for all politicians to stop throwing verbal stones that harm this United States of America.
