Lake County sharing information, seeking input on ADA plan

Lake County is hosting a public meeting from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, to share progress and seek input on its Americans with Disabilities Act Comprehensive Transition Plan.

The open house-format meeting will be held at the Lake County Central Permit Facility, 500 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville.

The goal of the plan is to enhance accessibility across county programs, services, activities, public buildings and pedestrian facilities, such as sidewalks, crosswalks and curb ramps within the public rights of way.

Registration is recommended but not required at lakecountyil.gov. An online option also is available.
