Village launches events and programming study with survey and two community meetings

Buffalo Grove has partnered with Keen Independent Research to launch an Events and Programming Study and Plan that is evaluating current events and programs and exploring new opportunities.

Key to the study is gathering information and ideas from Buffalo Grove community members and stakeholders.

The Village is hosting two interactive community meetings on Sunday and Monday, Sept. 21 and 22 from noon-2 p.m. at the Alcott Center, Room 24, located at 530 Bernard Drive.

Both meetings are the same format, but give residents a weekday or weekend option.

Attendees are invited to come and go as they please during the two-hour time frame. There will be a brief presentation outlining the process during peak attendance hours, but interactive activity stations can be visited throughout, offering multiple ways to share feedback. The event will also have pizza available to attendees while supplies last.

An online survey is also available at qrco.de/BuffaloGrove. Participants will have the option to enter a drawing for one of three $50 gift cards. The survey closes Oct. 19.

It is expected to take eight months before a report is ready for presentation.
