Rhetoric from the left must be called

The Daily Herald response to the Charlie Kirk assassination was appropriate and telling but not condemning enough for such a heinous act, especially when, as you wrote, so many people are celebrating Charlie's death. This needs to be condemned.

Period. Full stop.

And you praise President Trump's response and rightly so but then the editors can't help but criticize the president in that he immediately blamed “the radical left.”

It is from the left that all of this hate and violence has arisen. If the media and you will not condemn it, then the president must. All of the instances of violence that you mention in your article (and so many others) were perpetrated by leftists or mentally challenged people.

These people were fomented (using Pritzker's word) by the Democrats who constantly call Trump and his supporters Hitler, Nazis, fascists and other worse names. They are told to take to the streets and to get in the face of Republicans. And the media and the Daily Herald never call them out on it.

The past few days I saw no riots, fires or destruction and the only gatherings of people were to pray and try to heal together. Please report facts, call out the violence of the left and start treatment for your TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome).
