Des Plaines officials to meet with public Sept. 22

Des Plaines Alderman Thomas Merlin will discuss issues facing the 5th Ward and the entire city at a public gathering Monday, Sept. 22.

Other city officials including Mayor Andrew Goczkowski, Police Chief David Anderson and Fire Chief Matt Matzl are scheduled to attend.

The gathering is set for 7 p.m. in the Shoreline Room below Foxtail on the Lake, 1177 Howard Ave. Attendees are encouraged to bring diapers for a charitable effort.
