Hanover Township Fall Food Truck Festival set for Sept. 18
Hanover Township will host its annual Fall Food Truck Festival from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sept. 18 at the Township’s William Tiknis Campus, 250 S. Route 59, Bartlett. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit a variety of food trucks, enjoy live music, and receive information on the township’s programs and services. Free games for kids will also be available.
“The fest brings our neighbors together with live music, food trucks and fun,” Hanover Township Supervisor Brian P. McGuire said. “More importantly, the event provides an opportunity for residents to learn more about the services Hanover Township provides right in their own community.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with officials and staff about the township’s programs for adults 55 and older, after-school programs for youth, property tax appeal assistance, veteran’s programs, health screenings, food pantry programs and more.
Food vendors include Duke’s Blues-N-BBQ, Smash’d, E.J. Pierogi, the Tievoli Pizza Truck, Kori’s Koop, Churros Tinoco, D’s Treats, My Cocina, Cousins Maine Lobster, Kona Ice, Poupee Puff, and the Hawaiian Food Truck. A beverage tent will offer a variety of beer and wine as well as soda and water. Chicago area cover band, iPop will headline the fest. Austin Hopkins and Karen Shook will also perform.
Attendees are strongly encouraged to utilize the off-site parking options at the Village Church of Bartlett, at 601 W. Bartlett Road, Bartlett, and the Bartlett Metra Lot, at Western Avenue & Oneida Avenue, Bartlett. Free shuttles will provide transportation to and from the campus.
