Fall Fest returns to the Lisle library Sept. 26
The Lisle Library District invites patrons of all ages to enjoy an evening of seasonal activities, family fun, and community connection with the popular Fall Fest on Friday, Sept. 26. It will be 5 to 7 p.m. at the library, 777 Front St.
This year’s event will feature a variety of attractions that highlight the vibrancy of fall.
The evening will begin with a cozy “Campfire” Storytime from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet live owls and learn from the experts at Stillman Nature Center in South Barrington.
Children can enjoy the large inflatable slide, while attendees of all ages can savor a warm snack from Auntie Anne’s pretzel truck. Help judge the best jack-o'-lantern and don’t miss the seasonal photo booth where guests can capture the fall spirit in a phenomenal festive setting.
Librarians are ready to provide personalized reading recommendations, as well as help you register for a library card.
“There’s something about the library in autumn — it’s cozy, colorful, and communal. Kicking off the season by attending Fall Fest is a great way to experience those awesome autumnal vibes. I look forward to seeing family and friends enjoy all that Fall Fest has to offer,” stated Tatiana Weinstein, library director.
All are encouraged to attend and enjoy an evening of engaging activities and community spirit at the Lisle Library District.
