Montini Catholic to host fall open house for prospective families
Montini Catholic, a Lasallian college preparatory high school in Lombard, is offersing several opportunities for prospective families to visit the campus and gather information to help them with their high school decision.
Parents and students interested in learning about a Lasallian education at Montini Catholic are invited to join them for one or all of these informational events. Registration is required via montini.org/admissions.
The open house dates are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, and 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at the school, 19W070 16th St. in Lombard.
The “Meet Montini” sessions are informal and informational presentations (for parents only) by Montini's administration and admissions teams. These events include a tour of the school while classes are in session.
The next session will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 17 (9-10:30 a.m.), two additional opportunities are available: Thursday, Oct. 23, and Thursday, Nov. 13 (9 to 10:30 a.m.) Registration is required.
Parents may also schedule a “Shadow Day” for their student to shadow a current Montini student and be a “Bronco” for a day. (Shadow Days are available Wednesdays through Fridays from 7:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.). Schedule a time at montini.org/admissions.
Montini Catholic High School is a member of the Midwest District of the De LaSalle Christian Brothers, which includes three universities and 14 high schools. It is a family-centered, co-educational, college preparatory high school, rooted in the life and teaching of Jesus Christ as emulated by St. John Baptist DeLaSalle.
Programs challenge and encourage the spiritual, intellectual, personal, cultural, social and physical development of each student. The school is enjoying its 60th year of Lasallian education, opening its doors in 1966.
Montini Catholic has graduated close to 8,000 students, 99% of whom have gone on to college. All faiths as well as diverse ethnic, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds are welcomed members of the Montini Catholic family.
