Cost of defiance
The toxic tort bill expanding Illinois courts’ jurisdiction to cases that arise outside Illinois is now enrolled in state law, despite the Daily Herald editorial urging Gov. Pritzker to veto it.
This was predictable, as was the governor’s pride in signing two bills that kill: one that enshrines use in Illinois of the chemical abortion drug RU-486 even if the Food and Drug Administration revokes its approval; and the other that compels colleges to provide chemical abortion in their student health services. Gov. Pritzker is also proud to defy federal immigration law enforcement.
Is it any wonder that Illinois is collapsing under such leadership?
