Why has president forsaken Republican cities?
Currently, I am visiting my niece’s family in Naperville for the summer, and will be here through the fall, having coffee, and reading the Daily Herald. recently, our president brought troops into Chicago, as he has said, to stop crime.
All of my life I have lived in cities in the South. Listening to many sides of the situation, I looked up more than one ranking of “the most dangerous cities” and found out Chicago doesn’t even make the top 25. I was surprised to find some cities that I have actually lived in, that are rated more dangerous than Chicago.
Working for a consultant business required me to move frequently. I lived in Little Rock, Arkansas, Alexandria, Louisiana, Springfield, Missouri, and a couple more that are not on the list. I was surprised at Springfield’s rating.
It seems that President Trump has forgotten about these states that voted for him who really could use his help. He has indicated that without his intervention, crime will go up. So this makes me a little sad, especially for Alexandria, Louisiana. It has some nice places and could be even nicer, if there were less poverty and crime.
I am sure everyone would welcome the help.
