Shepherd of the Prairie Church presents adult study on half-truths
Beginning on the weekend of Oct. 10, a five-week adult study series on “Half-Truths” will be facilitated by Jan Spees at Shepherd of the Prairie Lutheran Church, 10805 Main St. in Huntley.
The sessions will take place on two different days: Fridays from 11 a.m. to noon through Friday, Oct. 10; or on Sundays from 10:20 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. through Sunday, October 12.
The weekly sessions are stand alone and follow the book “Half-Truths: God Helps Those Who Help Themselves and Other Things the Bible Doesn’t Say” by author Adam Hamilton.
The five study sessions include: “Everything Happens for a Reason”; “God Helps Those Who Help Themselves”; “God Won’t Give You More Than You Can Handle”; and “Love the Sinner, Hate the Sin.”
