Untrue rants
It is extremely easy to recap Matt Poprocki's column for the next year: “High taxes and excessive regulation.”
My first impression for Mr. Poprocki is to move out of the state of Illinois. I am tired of his continual complaining about the state of Illinois.
If what he rants about Illinois were true, our population and businesses in Illinois would be zero. Neither are true. People and companies are moving to the state.
As an individual try moving to Nebraska and getting the salary that one gets here, try finding the number of high-paying jobs needed for the quality of employees that companies get in Illinois.
Regulations? The same thing is true. Companies move here because of the quality of employees that they can attract here.
