Media refusing to speak truth to power
Jim Slusher is wrong. Sometimes there are NOT two sides. In the case of Trump sending unwanted, not requested, military troops into a city instead of working with that city to help with public safety, there is only one side. That would be side of Trump the incompetent bully, the tyrant, the want to be king personality, ruling the day in Washington and declaring a made up emergency.
You have chosen the Trump autocracy side of politics. He is unchecked by a Congress of cowards. News media have turned chicken, cowards who refuse to call out facts and speak truth to power.
One of the key elements in the rise of all dictators who destroy Democracies is propaganda. The news media is failing to call out propaganda. You should be reporting all the facts, not repeating the propaganda of a dangerous administration full of unqualified individuals. Hegseth and RFK come to mind.
You sit back and watch as dedicated experts are fired. You turn a blind eye to the damage being done on a daily basis to the health and security of this country.
Why are you afraid to confront the GOP for their lack of integrity and support of the Constitution?
