Deny forum for pardoned insurrectionist

Stewart Rhodes, insurrectionist founder of the Oath Keepers and other ill-intentioned individuals, attacked the Congress of the United States on Jan. 6, 2021, in an attempt to overthrow our government. He was convicted and sentenced to 20 years in jail. As he did for all insurrectionists, Trump let him out of jail. Rhodes only served three years.

A far-right organization has invited Rhodes to speak at Eagle Brook Country Club on Wednesday, September 24. I strongly encourage Eagle Brook Country Club to refuse to host his appearance. If he appears there as scheduled, Eagle Brook will incur tremendous negative publicity and will find a large number of protesters who care about protecting our democracy surrounding it.

If you are as appalled as I am by the thought of a traitor speaking in our community, please join me in contacting Eagle Brook Country Club to tell them to cancel this event.
