A mob disrupted pool
Your Thursday Sept. 4 Daily Herald article on the July mob gathering at the Glen Ellen pool is all wrong.
This was not a gathering of young people, but a mob of out-of-town hoodlums who came there to create havoc and ruin a great summer day for parents and their children. And because of their actions, the park district agency had to shut the pool down early.
Real nice.
They should have been arrested and thrown in jail for entering without paying, smoking marijuana, consuming alcoholic beverages and igniting illegal fireworks, not to mention the one individual pushing the park district manager into the pool.
What would have happened had the district manager drowned? What would have happened if the illegal fireworks started a fire?
