Palatine street closing for water main construction

As part of ongoing water main construction, East Reseda Parkway will be closed on both sides of Hicks Road in Palatine beginning Tuesday and lasting for about 14 days, village officials said.

Reseda will be closed to both eastbound and westbound traffic on the west side of Hicks Road. On the east side of Hicks it will be closed to eastbound traffic.

No detour will be posted, but alternatives include Carpenter, Juniper and Marsha drives.
