Pop art inspires Edward Foundation’s 35th annual fundraiser
The theme for the Edward Foundation’s 35th annual gala draws inspiration from titans of the Pop Art movement, with Naperville residents Adam and Oriana Van Someren as the honorary hosts of the event.
“The Big Gig: Pop!” will be held Saturday, Sept. 27, at The Westin, 70 Yorktown Shopping Center in Lombard. The event begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and a silent auction, followed by dinner, live auction and dancing.
The gala is the foundation’s largest fundraiser of the year and supports Endeavor Health Edward Hospital programs and services that have a direct impact on patients.
Proceeds raised this year will provide upgrades for numerous Endeavor Health Edward Hospital specialties, including oncology, cardiology and behavioral health services at Linden Oaks.
A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available. Tables of 10 or individual tickets can be purchased and individuals and businesses can donate items for the silent and live auctions.
In addition, the gala will feature an “Ultimate Raffle” ($100 for one ticket, $250 for three tickets).
The winner will choose one of the following: $2,500 in cash, 24-inch Apple iMac, three-night New York City Museum package or a Palm Springs Mid-Century Dream package.
