Our hope is in the next elections

I enjoyed reading Cyndi Kehoe’s letter to the editor “Putin, Trump putting America at risk.” She is right-on but omitted one major grave risk: Trump and his gang are leading us toward World War 3, which will not end well for us.

Fact is, Trump, through his incompetence, narcissism and bullying (among other things) has greatly strengthened the Russia-China partnership, as well as the Russia-India relationship. He has alienated most of NATO and has even somehow managed to damage the relationship with the two countries and former close friends, that border America: Canada and Mexico. A difficult task indeed.

NATO will not be so willing to come to our defense when the habitually lying, corrupt Trump is looking for help. And since even Trump knows Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is an incompetent, top secret-sharing clown, we can’t expect much help there.

I know this will be difficult for Trump Republicans to understand, but let’s hope there are enough people with insight and wisdom to vote out all of Trump’s sycophant loyalists and bring some calm and sanity back to this country.
