A place to begin working for solutions

We are Americans, and we are for: Three branches of government; due process; NATO; diplomacy; Ukraine; Canada and Mexico; USAID; national parks; NPR and PBS; EPA; NOAA; FEMA; Smithsonian Institution; DEI; Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid; affordable health care and mental health services; women deciding what happens to their own bodies; people choosing whom to love; separation of church and state; police and teachers (we ask a lot of them); affordable housing; and being a good steward for this planet.

We are against: Putin and his grab to conquer a sovereign nation; oligarchs and making them richer with laws that burden all others; totalitarianism in any form; politicians (Democratic or Republican) who follow rigid tenets instead of solving problems and; making the world a better place for everyday people; hypocrites; citizens with military weapons; weaponizing federal government departments; government agencies that were designed to be apolitical becoming political; and a very narrow definition of who deserves to be called an American. others or their associations determine it for us.
