Palatine Township invites nonprofits to apply for funding opportunities
Palatine Township will provide social service organizations the opportunity to apply for funding for programs that serve Township residents. This year, the Palatine Township Board will review all Human Needs Funding applications. These specific programs provided by accredited agencies supply lifesaving, life sustaining, and life enriching assistance that help the community.
In the past, the Human Needs Committee, together with the Supervisor Andy-John G. Kalkounos and the Palatine Township Trustees, reviewed agency programs and those recommendations were reviewed and approved by the Supervisor and Trustees. Moving forward, the Palatine Township Supervisor and trustees will review and approve applications. New this year, presentations from agencies will be scheduled on a rolling basis between September and December, streamlining and improving the process. Social service agencies who apply must have a representative available to present at one of the meetings. Agencies must be able to document their impact and results, as well as the populations they serve in Palatine Township.
Applications will be available at PalatineTownship-il.gov. The deadline to submit applications is end of business on Thursday, Oct. 30.
The completed application form can be emailed to HNF@PalatineTownship-il.gov or mailed to: Palatine Township Attn: Human Needs Funding, 721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine, IL, 60067.
Those needing assistance can contact the Township at (847) 358-6700 or email Reach@palatinetownship-il.gov.
