Elgin police reopen portion of Randall Road after semi overturns

An overturned semitrailer truck caused Elgin police to close northbound lanes of Randall Road near Hopps Road Thursday morning until about 3:30 p.m.
No injuries were reported from the crash that happened at about 8:30 a.m.
The driver of the semitrailer truck was making a left turn from the southbound lanes of Randall Road when the unbalanced load caused the semi to turn onto its side.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
