Oktoberfest in Libertyville returns for two days of festive fun Sept. 19-20

Get ready to raise your steins and celebrate. Oktoberfest in Libertyville returns to the heart of downtown Libertyville for two days of Bavarian fun, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 19-20.

This lively festival takes place in the back lot at Mickey Finn’s Brewery, 345 N. Milwaukee Ave., brought to you in partnership by MainStreet Libertyville, GLMV Chamber of Commerce, and Mickey Finn’s Brewery. Expect a weekend packed with fun, local flavor, and entertainment.

Festival Schedule:

• 5-10 p.m. Friday

Kick off the weekend with live music, ice-cold brews, and authentic German food available for purchase. Test your skills in traditional Bavarian games like Hammerschlagen or Masskrugstemmen, rock your best lederhosen or dirndl, and connect with the community in a setting that’s pure Gemütlichkeit.

• 1-4 p.m. Saturday: Family Garten

Bring the kids to the Family Garten for an afternoon of kid-friendly fun. While the little ones enjoy engaging activities, adults can relax with friends, soak in the sounds of the festival, and sip their favorite brews. Kids get in free with the purchase of a Saturday ticket.

• 5-10 p.m. Saturday

The party continues into the evening with even more beer, entertainment, and Bavarian cheer.
