What if Alaska were invaded?

I wonder:

President Trump has belittled an allied country's president, Ukraine's President Zelenskyy. Ukraine was and is presently fighting for its life and remains under attack by Russia at the order of Russian President Putin. President Trump decided to stick his nose into the situation by cutting out the country that is victimized, encouraging them to give the aggressor whatever they want in the name of peace — Ukraine’s land, not Trump's land or the land of the United States, but the victim's land to Putin. Why, because Putin wants it back to re-create an empire.

Now here's the question. If the situation were reversed and Putin attacked Alaska, we, the American people, would fight for our lives under the same conditions as Ukraine, and would Trump let Ukraine negotiate for us, cutting us out altogether, and Ukraine telling us to oh, just give Putin Alaska and forget about it already?

Better yet, what would we do? After all, we elected Trump in the first place.
