Sen. Hills’ Kids Fair brings smiles and excitement to Lake Zurich

Families from across the community turned out in full force for Sen. Darby Hills’ (R-Barrington Hills) annual Kids Fair at the Foglia YMCA.

“Thank you to everyone who came out to my Kids Fair in Lake Zurich,” Sen. Hills said. “It was a fantastic turnout, and I loved connecting with families over face painting, trucks, the K-9 unit, and more. Seeing so many kids smiling and engaged makes hosting this event such a joy.”

The fair was packed with crowd favorites, from colorful face painting and a fascinating reptile show to the always-popular Touch-a-Truck experience, where children got an up-close look at fire trucks, police cars, and even a working police dog unit. Parents and children alike also had the chance to explore helpful local and state resources, adding a meaningful layer of community support to the fun.
