Villa Park honors DuPage 88 Marching Band with ‘Best Musical Performance Award’

On July 28, the Villa Park Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2801 and the Villa Park Village Board named the DuPage 88 Marching Band as the 2025 recipient of the “Best Musical Performance Award.”

The band is composed of Addison Trail and Willowbrook student-musicians, and the schools joined together for the first time this summer.

The group members were honored during the July 28 village board meeting for their talent and creativity in the Independence Day Parade, which was hosted by the Villa Park VFW Post 2801 on July 4.
