Huntley announces vendors for new Shops on Main

The village of Huntley has announced the first cohort of vendors for Shops on Main.

The new downtown destination, at the southeast corner of Route 47 and Main Street, will feature a diverse group of retail entrepreneurs, bringing a variety of goods and products to the community.

“We are incredibly excited to welcome this talented group of vendors to the heart of our downtown,” said Village President Tim Hoeft. “We are proud to launch the Shops on Main project as a way to support entrepreneurs and expand the retail landscape of our vibrant downtown. This addition will provide new shopping experiences for residents and visitors and help draw additional attention to the many existing businesses in Huntley. We look forward to a successful inaugural season.”

The inaugural Shops on Main vendors are:

• BARE RAGS — Women’s Apparel

• chARM candy collection — Children’s accessories

• DD Creations Studio — Personalized products

• Pots and Pies — Baked Sweet and Savory Goods

• Serenity Soul Corporation — Specialty Food accompaniments & Kitchenware

• Wild In Ink — Lifestyle & Gifts

• Sew Mine — Sewing & Craft Supplies

• Huntley Art Hub Gallery — Jewelry & Art

• CP Boutique — Women’s clothing and accessories

• The Find — Vintage + Thrift — Curated secondhand clothing and original graphic tees including menswear

The Shops on Main initiative aims to provide a structured and supportive environment for entrepreneurs to transition to a traditional retail setting. It includes six customized, free-standing shops that will create a vibrant, walkable open-air market, as well as four individual units inside the restored historic Hackett House, officials said.

Vendors in this first group represent a wide range of experience, from emerging entrepreneurs to seasoned retailers, with backgrounds that span online channels, vendor markets, home-based operations, and traditional retail settings.

A grand opening is slated for Nov. 1. The shops will operate Friday through Sunday and during certain special events. The inaugural season will run through Dec. 20. Following a winter closure, the shops will reopen for their regular May through December season.
