Find out if you have unclaimed property or cash during event Aug. 19 in South Elgin
State Sen. Don DeWitte is partnering with the Illinois Treasurer’s office on Tuesday, Aug. 19, for an unclaimed property event at the Gail Borden Library’s South Elgin branch.
Residents of the 33rd senate district can meet with a counselor from the Treasurer’s office to see if any of the more than $5 billion in Illinois unclaimed property and cash belongs to them and then get help filing a claim. The event goes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
