Naper Nights wraps up with eclectic music
Naper Nights Community Concert Series wraps up the summer season on Aug. 15-16 with an eclectic mix of music at Naper Settlement.
The Charleston, South Carolina band, Bears Gone Phishin’, will be performing the music of Widespread Panic, Grateful Dead, and Phish on Friday, Aug. 15, from 8 to 10 p.m. Opening will be Cream Cheese Accident offering a tribute to the Colorado jam band, String Cheese Incident.
On Saturday, Aug. 16, the Portland, Oregon band Wilclone, a Wilco tribute band, will perform everyone’s favorite Wilco hits, from “California Stars” to “Impossible Germany,” from 8 to 10 p.m.
The opener will be Great American Taxi with original music spanning several genres including rock & roll, pop, country, and R&B from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Naper Settlement will be offering local cuisine from a variety of vendors including Billy Bricks Wood Fired Pizza, Craft Urban, Grumpy Gaucho, Guzman y Gomez, Half Baked Goodness, Ben & Jerry’s, and John’s Rib House.
There will be beer selections from Alter Brewing Company including a new light beer option, wine selections from Rodney Strong Vineyards, and two new canned cocktails including Lipton Hard Iced Tea and Salucita Paloma. All beer, wine, and canned cocktail purchases require a beverage ticket. Beverage tickets are $7 each and are cash only.
Each night, all tips collected at the beverage tents benefit a local organization. Tips on Friday benefit the DuPage Hispanic Alliance, and Saturday’s tips will go to the Kyle Zuleg Foundation.
A children’s area with activities provided by Pinot's Palette and Chasers Laser Tag will also be on site.
All August tickets orders (including member tickets) made by Wednesday, Aug. 13 are automatically entered for a chance to win a Naper Nights upgrade that includes dinner, drinks, and access to the sponsor area (maximum of 8 people). One entry will be picked for each night. 1 entry per order (maximum of 8 tickets per order). Those who have already purchased an August Naper Nights ticket will also be entered to win. Winners will be notified via email and phone.

Naper Settlement is located at 523 S. Webster St. in Naperville. Free parking is available in the municipal parking garage on the corner of Eagle and Aurora and in the Naper Settlement visitor's lot on Porter Avenue and Webster Street. Attendees are also encouraged to take an Uber or Lyft to Naper Nights.
