Best tool for traffic safety: Enforcement
Tammy Duckworth must be worried about her reelection potential and resorting to pandering to women voters with her proposed She Drives Act. To think that more women’s lives will be saved by updating crash test dummy standards requires an enormous stretch of the imagination. We have air bags that deploy in crashes. We have automatic speed reduction when drivers on cruise control approach a vehicle too closely from behind. We have lane changing alerts. What’s next? Air bags for motorcycles? What about improving enforcement of the traffic laws we do have?
