Knox Garden Walk yields $5K for Northern Illinois Food Bank
More than 300 people toured six gorgeous Naperville area gardens during Knox Presbyterian Church’s 2025 Garden Walk.
A total of $5,000 was raised for Northern Illinois Food Bank in Geneva, which supplies food to pantries across 11 counties, including Loaves and Fishes Community Services, which serves residents of DuPage, Will, Kane and Kendall counties.
Members of the Knox Garden Walk Committee presented the check to Christine Fisher, brand and cause marketing manager of the food bank.
With each dollar donated, the food bank is able to purchase $8 worth of groceries for Illinois families. With recent cutbacks, the need is very great.
The Garden Walk is hosted by Presbyterian Women of Knox Church, 1105 Catalpa, Naperville. Learn more at knoxpres.org/social.
