Arlington Heights residents can get smoke alarms installed, inspected

Arlington Heights residents can make an appointment to have a firefighter come to their home to install or inspect a smoke alarm, at no cost.

The service is available through the Arlington Heights Fire Department's Smoke Alarm Program, which aims to educate the community on the importance of having a properly functioning smoke alarm in every home.
