Maine Township receives grants for facility improvements, addiction recovery program
Maine Township officials will use $280,000 in newly approved state grants to install new flooring in township hall, help fund addiction recovery efforts and improve public infrastructure, they announced Monday.
A $100,000 grant will pay for improvements at township hall, 1700 Ballard Road, Park Ridge.
A $150,000 grant will fund unspecified infrastructure improvements. A $30,000 grant will benefit the Maine Township Recovery Connection program.
Township Supervisor Kim Jones thanked state Sen. Laura Murphy of Des Plaines for securing the funding.
