Pay the bills

I can't believe the bickering going on between DuPage County Clerk Jean Kaczmarek and County Board Chair Deb Conroy about withholding payment for two suppliers who have nothing to do with the conflict of DuPage County internal purchasing procedures.

From my personal observation it appears that Ms. Kaczmarek didn't obtain three bids for moving equipment or purchasing of election supply kits for the current bills in question. But why is the county not paying the bills?

It's not the suppliers' fault that internal procedures may not have been followed. Pay the bills and do what's necessary to make sure procedures are adhered to for future purchasing contracts.
