Man charged in road rage shooting near Elmhurst

A Chicago man has been arrested on gun charges, accused of firing a gun during a road-rage incident last year near Elmhurst.
Illinois State Police announced Thursday they had arrested Juan A. Terrazas, 27, on charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
He is accused of firing a gun at a vehicle around 6:49 a.m. on Nov. 27, 2024, on I-290 near Lake Street. The bullets hit a vehicle, but nobody was injured.
Terrazas is being held in the DuPage County jail pending first-appearance court. Prosecutors have filed a petition to have him detained pretrial.
