BBB 2025 Torch Awards for business ethics are open for submissions
The Better Business Bureau serving Chicago and Northern Illinois is accepting nominations and entries for the 2025 BBB Torch Awards for Ethics recognizing businesses that lead with integrity and inspire trust in the marketplace.
Whether you’re a business owner or a loyal customer, now is the time to spotlight companies that go above and beyond. Nominate a deserving business or submit your own entry today and take a bold step toward being recognized as a beacon of trust in your industry.
“The Torch Award is the highest honor the Better Business Bureau can present to a company,” says Steve J. Bernas, president and CEO of the BBB. “Torch Award winners consistently demonstrate the highest ethical standards toward customers, employees, and the communities in which they do business.”
Businesses will be evaluated on their ethics and integrity based on four key criteria: character, culture, customers, and community.
The Torch Awards are open to all for-profit businesses based in Chicago and Northern Illinois that have been in operation for at least three years. The Firestarter Award honors those operating less than 3 years.
Anyone can nominate a company for a BBB Torch Award, and businesses are encouraged to self-nominate, as well. All nominees, nominators, entrants, and past winners will be invited to a networking event.
To nominate a business, visit bbb.org/chicagobuzz or at bbb.org/chicagotorch.
