Naper Settlement hosts Radiohead, WAR tributes for July Naper Nights
Naper Nights Community Concert Series continues with a Radiohead tribute on July 18 and a performance by multi-platinum-selling band WAR on July 19 at Naper Settlement.
Android Paranoid will bring Radiohead's iconic hits to life on Friday, July 18, from 8 to 10 p.m. From “Creep” to “Let Down,” experience a theatrical recreation of Radiohead’s once-in-a-generation music by Android Paranoid.
Opening for Android Paranoid will be Morning View, a tribute to Incubus, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
WAR is coming to Naper Nights on Saturday, July 19, to celebrate 50 years of their 1975 multiplatinum album, “Why Can’t We Be Friends.”
Experience the electrifying sounds of the original street band performing everyone’s favorite hits including “Why Can’t We Be Friends,” “Low Rider,” “Spill the Wine,” “The Cisco Kid,” and more.
Opening for WAR will be Rico! performing the ultimate tribute to Santana from 6-7:30 p.m.
Both Naper Nights concerts will open the night with local students from the School of Rock playing their favorites on stage from 5 to 5:40 p.m.
Naper Settlement will celebrate the community by offering local cuisine from a variety of vendors including Q-BBQ, Billy Bricks, Ben & Jerry’s, Grumpy Gaucho, Guzman y Gomez, John’s Rib House, and Half Baked Goodness.
There will be beer selections from Alter Brewing Company, wine selections from Rodney Strong Vineyards, and two new canned cocktails including Lipton Hard Iced Tea and Salucita Paloma.
A children’s area with activities provided by Pinot's Palette and Chasers Laser Tag will also be on site. Each night, all tips collected at the beverage tents benefit a local organization. Tips on Friday benefit the Alive Center, and Saturday’s tips will go to the Naperville American Legion Post 43.
On July 18, tickets are $25 or $15 for youth, ages 4 to 12. On July 19, it is $40 or $15. Members and children under 4 receive complimentary admission.
The summer concert series will wrap up on Aug. 15-16 with an eclectic mix of music.
On Friday, Aug. 15, Bears Gone Phishin' will be performing the music of Widespread Panic, Grateful Dead, and Phish. Opening will be Cream Cheese Accident, offering a tribute to the Colorado jam band, String Cheese Incident.
On Saturday, Aug. 16, the Portland, Oregon band Wilcone, a Wilco tribute band, will be the headliners with Great American Taxi opening with their mix of rock & roll classics, gutsy pop, country, and blue-eyed R&B.

Naper Settlement is located at 523 S. Webster St. in Naperville. Free parking is available in the municipal parking garage on the corner of Eagle and Aurora and in the Naper Settlement visitor's lot on Porter Avenue and Webster Street. Attendees are also encouraged to take an Uber or Lyft to Naper Nights.
