Milkmen pitching no match for Dogs offense
Despite the rain on Wednesday night in Milwaukee, the Dogs offense was seeing the ball extremely well. Fifteen hits and 11 runs later, the Dogs finished off an 11-1 win on the road.
Reggie Pruitt reached base five times, Jacob Maiben three times and Max Moris twice, driving in multiple runs. The Dogs didn’t hit any home runs, however they were hit by a pitch five times, and some clutch singles plus five doubles lead to a few crooked numbers.
On the flip side, Milwaukee couldn’t touch Dwayne Marshall, who had his best outing of the season. The Dogs swing man went five innings allowing just one earned run, striking out three. Zach Davidson threw three scoreless in relief, striking out five, and John Kelly finished things off for the Dogs with a scoreless ninth.
