The Reserve of Geneva names new Life Enrichment Director
The Reserve of Geneva welcomes Annamarie Neave as the community’s new Life Enrichment Director. In this dual role, Neave also will support sales and outreach efforts, helping families discover all the benefits of life at Geneva’s premier independent living community.
Neave brings a lifelong passion for working with older adults to The Reserve. Originally from Batavia, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Non-Profit Leadership from Aurora University. Her professional journey began in high school as a dining room server at a senior living community — an experience that sparked her enduring interest in creating joy and purpose for older adults.
"Activities and life enrichment aren't just about filling time," Neave said. "They’re about giving residents a reason to get up and go each morning. It’s about finding joy, purpose, and connection."
A major inspiration for her work is her grandmother, who lived with Neave’s family during college and attended adult day care programs. Witnessing the impact of social engagement on her grandmother’s well-being helped solidify her commitment to senior living — and the power of meaningful connection.

Neave and her husband Stuart, an HR manager, are relocating to Batavia this summer. When she’s not leading resident events or welcoming new families to the community, she enjoys reading, board games, and spending time with her cats.
