Wednesday afternoon house fire near Huntley leaves home uninhabitable
No injuries were reported after a house fire Wednesday afternoon near Huntley that left the home uninhabitable.
The fire was reported on the 10800 block of Seeman Road at about 4:40 p.m.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire that was largely contained to the attached garage of the one-story, single-family home, however, the home is deemed uninhabitable until repairs are made.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
