Geneva, Metra team for rail safety event July 9

The Geneva Police Department, Metra and Operation Lifesaver will hold a passenger safety blitz from 3 to 7 p.m. July 9, at the train station, 328 Crescent Place.

They will discuss safe practices, distribute educational materials, answer questions, and enforce pedestrian laws near the Third Street crossing.
