Lombard gardeners to learn iPhone photography

On Thursday, July 17, the Lombard Garden Club will host a program on iPhone photography with speaker Erica Benson.

Benson, a photojournalist for over 20 years, teaches part-time at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn. She has also been an instructor of nature photography at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle.

Benson will guide participants through using a cellphone to best photograph gardens and nature vistas, showing flowers and vegetable to the best advance. The program will be held at 6:30 p.m. in Hatfield Hall at the First Church of Lombard, 220 S. Main St. in Lombard. There is no charge and the public is welcome to attend.

The Lombard Garden Club, celebrating 100 years in 2026, promotes an interest in gardening and the beautification of the landscape in our community.
