Take an honest look at presidents

This letter is in response to Bill Blaine’s post in the June 16 Daily Herald. The writer is sad because he doesn’t understand the vitriol in the streets regarding Trump. He sees Trump as being very similar to Obama and Biden by inferring that Obama was a kind of revolutionary and Biden was mentally incompetent with his policies.

Funny how a little time can fog one’s memory of Trump’s tenure in Washington. Similarities between Obama and Biden to the display we’ve seen from Trump could not be more stark. Let me list some of the big differences. Obama nor Biden have not done any of the following things:

Scammed a charity and college students

Schemed to hide his adultery to enhance his election chances

Schemed to overturn the 2024 election

Convicted of 34 felonies

Indicted on 3 other federal felony charges

Impeached twice

Support Putin’s goals in Ukraine

Threaten private law firms, news outlets and universities with the full force of the government

Insult anyone who has the audacity to disagree with him

Sane washing this behavior by saying he’s just a business man who does things differently does not cut it with the folks in the street. C’mon, take a real honest look at this man you support.
