Read the bills
Readers may think my rant is about the Big Beautiful Bill but it is not. My musing is about all legislation voted on by the House and Senate. If I could waive a magical constitutional wand, I would require all members of both Chambers, before being permitted to vote, to sign an attestation that they have read every page and understand every clause, on the legislation they are about to vote on. The end of the 1,000 plus page bills would be a relic of the past.
