One treated for multiple gunshot wounds in Prospect Heights shooting

One person shot multiple times in Prospect Heights Sunday is hospitalized while police look for a the shooter, officials said.
Prospect Heights officers responded to reports of gunshots fired in the area of Love Drive just before 9 p.m.
Officers found an adult victim with multiple gunshot wounds, police said. Police said the victim was taken to a hospital and is scheduled for surgery.
The shooter has not yet been identified, police said, but the shooting is under investigation.
Police said it appears to be an isolated incident with no threat to the community.
