The Chicago Dogs delivered a dominant 12-1 victory over the Lake Country DockHounds, showcasing their offensive firepower throughout the contest.
Jeff Lindgren anchored the victory on the mound as the starting pitcher, going the distance through seven full innings to give his team exactly what it needed.
The scoring began in the third inning when Andy Nelson drove in Reggie Pruitt with an RBI hit to put Chicago on the scoreboard 1-0, setting the tone for what would become a complete rout.
The Dogs exploded for three runs in the fourth inning to seize control of the game. Chance Sisco launched a solo home run to extend the lead, followed by Max Morris driving home Dusty Stroup with an RBI hit. Henry Kusiak then added to the rally with a sacrifice fly that brought Pruitt across the plate once again, pushing the advantage to 4-0 and effectively putting the game out of reach early.
