Four apartments damaged in Naperville fire
No one was injured during a fire Monday morning at an apartment building in Naperville.
Naperville Fire Department officials said the blaze fire started on the second floor of a building in the 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive. It was reported at 9:56 a.m.
Police officers were the first to arrive at the scene. They tried to put it out with fire extinguishers, but there was heavy smoke.
Four units in an apartment building were declared uninhabitable. Damage is estimated at $100,000.
Fire officials said cooking caused the fire.
