Unwind Wednesday continues with two more dates this summer

The St. Charles Business Alliance is excited to announce that Unwind Wednesday, sponsored by Theriault Booth LLC. Attorneys at Law, will continue this summer with two additional dates.

Taking place on Wednesdays, July 16 and Aug. 13, this event invites individuals to enjoy live music and beverages from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on the 1st Street Plaza.

Guests, ages 21 or older, who wish to enjoy an alcoholic beverage during Unwind Wednesday must purchase their drink from one of the five local businesses located on the 1st Street Plaza.

These businesses include: Alter Brewing + Kitchen, Gia Mia, La Mesa Modern Mexican, La Za’Za’ Trattoria, and McNally’s Irish Pub & Kitchen.

To participate, patrons must stop by one of the above venues and present valid identification to receive a wristband. Once a wristband is received, individuals will then be able to purchase a beverage that they can enjoy on the 1st Street Plaza while listening to Connie Cipher and Michael McInerney on July 16, and Dennis O’Brien on Aug. 13.

St. Charles Business Alliance Executive Director Jenna Sawicki is looking forward to continuing this community event.

“The first Unwind Wednesday was a great success,” Sawicki said. “It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the live music, the atmosphere, and supporting our local businesses. We’re looking forward to seeing this event continue to grow with these additional dates.”

Unwind Wednesday is open to guests of all ages, but only those 21 or older may consume alcoholic beverages. All drinks and attendees must stay within the designated event boundaries on the 1st Street Plaza. Please note that outside alcohol is not allowed, and underage drinking will be strictly monitored by on-site security. Please drink responsibly.
